Dana: The Perfection of Generosity and Giving
The members of Muddy Water Zen work to live the path that the Six Perfections (Six Paramitas) have set before us. The first perfection, is generosity. Generosity can mean many different things. From a smile acknowledging someones Buddha nature, to a hug, to compassionate listening, to the giving of one’s time or money, generosity encompasses a wide array of actions in this life. We appreciation any donation from our members and friends, or even a visitor, whether it be that smile or hug, those times listening compassionately, or those who give their time or money. We thank you for your generosity in helping us along this path that we are all on together.
If you do feel inclined to donate money, we certainly appreciate it. Our temple runs strictly due to the beautiful and generous hearts of people who give what they can. We cannot express our gratitude enough for their “dana”. You may click the donation button below or mail donations to address listed below as well.
